Today it was confirmed that we got into PGN (Guatemalan Courts)! Yippee!!! We are on the homeward stretch from here. We are hoping for 8 weeks or less in PGN. Then about two weeks after that we should travel to Guatemala to bring her home! Still hoping for a Mother's Day miracle! Kim from our agency was down there last week. She got to see Marissa for us. She reports that Marissa is a happy and healthy teeny little girl. She loves make up and having her hair done. She likes to clean the foster mother's house and play ball with the foster mother's teenage son. She also likes to take care of the foster mother's six month old baby. We will send her a frilly girlie dress for Easter. We just can't wait to bring her home. Like I said before, international adoption is not for the weak at heart. This process has been extremely challenging for me, much more so than Lauren's adoption. Thank you for your support.
